Plant “Variety Show”

Do you have a vegetable, fruit, herb or other that is special to you with a story you want to share? Maybe it is just a really neat one you’re excited about. Maybe it is something you grow that has a storied history, or has been passed down within your family for generations. Bring an example to display and share the incredible plants and stories growing in our City.

What you need to know:

  • This can be any representation of the plant like it’s fruit, seeds, leaves.
  • Bring your plant/ fruit/ etc to the Fair and drop it off at the “Farm Show” Booth. You’ll have a chance to label it there.
  • You are welcome to write out your story however you’d like to express it. There’s no requirements other than keep the size moderate and displayable so we can easily arrange it with all the participants. The story can be written, typed, on decorated paper, board, or plain ol paper. Up to you if there is something you’d like to share.
  • Will I get my entry back? Yes! You can pick it up from the “Farm Show” booth at any time if you need to leave early.
  • Additionally: This is not a “seed exchange”. We respect that some plants are significant family heirlooms that not everyone wants to openly share with the public. Whatever is left behind will be used to make a nourishing compost. However if you are open to sharing your seeds, please note that and include that element if you wish.
