Do you have the Best Tomato in Pittsburgh?! See how your tomato stacks up against the rest at the Pittsburgh County Fair’s “Best Tomato in Pittsburgh Contest.”

How To Enter:

• Bring your tomato to the Tomato Contest booth by 12:30pm.
• If possible bring enough for 3 judges to sufficiently taste. For example. if you’re entering cherry tomatoes, a couple of em is helpful.
• Fill out the registration form at the booth when you leave your entry.
• Tomatoes will be judged by aroma, texture, and flavor.
• Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at 3:30 pm.
• Ribbons will be awarded to the top scorers. The overall champion will win a custom handmade Pgh County Fair belt buckle.
• You are not going to get your tomatoes back. The judges will likely end up eating everything.
• Entered tomatoes must be grown within the City of Pittsburgh.
