Fermented Food Contest

How does your ferment size up against the rest of Western Pennsylvania and beyond? Have a great recipe you want to share?

Bring your best!

We’ll be crowning champions in these categories:

  • Vegetables
  • Dairy
  • Protein
  • Breadlike
  • Sweet Things
  • Condiments/ Sauces/ Spreads
  • Beverages (non-alcoholic)

Winners for public voting and voting by Four appointed Judges in each category. Overall winners too.

How To Enter:

Deliver your ferments to the Contest table by 1:30pm Sunday February 23rd at Spirit. Be prepared to fill out a brief form with general information and recipe ingredients. Prizes announced at 3:30 pm!
