Do you have the Best Tomato in Pittsburgh?! See how your tomato stacks up against the rest at the Pittsburgh County Fair’s “Best Tomato in Pittsburgh Contest.”

How To Enter:

• Bring your tomato to the Tomato Contest booth by high noon (12pm).
• If possible bring enough for 3 judges to sufficiently taste. For example. if you’re entering cherry tomatoes, a couple of em is helpful.
• Fill out the registration form at the booth when you leave your entry.
• Tomatoes will be judged by aroma, texture, and flavor.
• Winners will be decided by 2pm.
• Prizes will be awarded to the top scorers. This year’s winners will be the first to get custom casted Pittsburgh County Fair belt buckles.
• You are not going to get your tomatoes back. The judges will likely end up eating everything.
• Entered tomatoes must be grown within the City of Pittsburgh.
